"I am so glad we connected. We love being a part of an organization that gives back to our community as you do. Having helped Beth in her last months--including a massage and facial that made her cry because she never though she'd feel that special again--I get how much what you and your crew do to help others. This is a partnership made in heaven!"

For Maggie, volunteering at Arizona Oncology Foundation means that she gets to do more. As a Radiation Therapist, she sees first hand what patients and their families go through and the supportive needs they have. Sharing their hard journey, she loves going the extra mile through volunteerism – making sure that cancer survivors have the supportive services they need.

Arizona Oncology Foundation represents a place of wellness for me. I think I'm considered almost part of the family at their TMC location as I not only go there to receive regular acupuncture treatments but as often as I can, I attend the weekly Tai Ji and Qi Gong movement classes. The volunteers at the Resource Center are caring and often fun and they always help brighten the day.

Rosemary had insurance that covered much of the medical costs of treatment, including surgery, but some of the post-op services were not adequately covered. She needed treatments for lymphedema, an accumulation of subcutaneous fluids that is painful and many times disfiguring. What’s needed is a manual massage to remove the fluid. “I need a manual lymph drainage every couple of weeks,” yet her insurance limits it to 12 times per year. Arizona Oncology Foundation provides an hour-long session for less than my insurance plan’s co-pay.” I definitely see the need for services and the foundation.” ~ Rosemary P., Survivor
